ABOUT SARAH EDITH JONES

In my position as a Director of Education and Workforce development, I lead the design and implementation of Millennium Challenge Corporation\'s education and workforce projects with foreign governments. My focus is on developing and leading transformative education projects that improve access to and quality of education for students in growing economies. Skillfully navigating the complex landscape of international development, my tenure reflects a steadfast dedication managing multi-million dollar initiatives that improve the lives of children and youth, increasing in-country capacity and ensuring an economic return to MCC\'s investments. Our agency\'s efforts in such countries Belize and Timor-Leste exemplify this mission, where we\'ve successfully catalyzed systemic changes and strengthened the capabilities of partner country governments in the education sector. Through meticulous evaluation design and a nuanced understanding of local and international educational frameworks, I am driven to foster sustainable growth and empower communities globally.
