Winner of Scotland Women in Technology: Judges\' Choice Award 2025I am a data scientist with a specialism in speech processing and natural language processing.I am particularly interested in ethical and inclusive technology. Technology plays an ever increasing role in our world, and it will take collaboration and thoughtful design from across all sectors to make sure it works for everyone.I co-led work on Coercive Control Resistant Design as part of IBM’s Academy of Technology. Following the positive reception of our initial study, including coverage on BBC News, we are working on more concrete guidance to help technologists reduce the abusability of their solutions.I have won the TechWomen100 award and been selected for the IBM ConsultingTop Talent programme.
