ABOUT SARAH BRECHER

I used to think I could never be in sales. It felt pushy, transactional, and a little icky. So naturally, my first full-time job? Sales Associate. I quickly rebranded my title to Partnerships Associate - not because the work changed, but because I saw sales differently. It was about building relationships, solving problems, and creating something valuable together. That’s always been who I am. Even as a 10-year-old on the soccer field, I’d make my rounds, chatting with every teammate’s parents. They teased me like I was running for mayor. Since then, I’ve redefined what sales means to me. I started out supporting businesses with food recovery - when they had surplus food (like catering), we redistributed their surplus to communities facing food insecurity. I built and scaled partnerships with organizations from the NBA to Fortune 500 companies to CA wide hospital systems. I helped execute the first-ever autonomous food recovery delivery (wait, how does that work?). I’ve said yes to things I didn’t yet know how to do, learned how to make sustainable, scalable impact, and made lots of long-term friends along the way. Now, at #samsales, I work alongside an incredible all-women team, teaching sellers and organizations how to approach the process through a manners-first, buyer-centric approach. We focus on the building blocks of the sales process, all while being sales training agnostic. We help sales teams stop sending mass cold emails (it’s overdone) and instead show their buyers they actually know them. We also ghostwrite for busy execs to amplify their voices on LinkedIn (but we won’t tell anyone it’s us). Outside of the (virtual) office, you can find me on hours-long walks in the streets of San Francisco, picking up seasonal produce from the farmer’s market, or dreaming of my next scuba diving adventure (Raja Ampat is calling).
