ABOUT SARA VASEY
As part of my last role as Head of Procurement UK & EMEA for Mayborn Group I restructured the Purchasing department, made significant progress in Supplier negotiations and contracts, both direct and indirect spend, and achieved considerable savings for the business. Alongside my roles in Procurement I worked on several diversity initiatives at Cummins. In 2006 I set up a women\'s group which was still active 8 years later when I left Cummins. This group ran initiatives to attract, retain and promote females in an engineering/ manufacturing environment. In 2008 we won the IMechE MX award for diversity and inclusion for this work. I have also been a member of the Pearls Leadership organisation.
