ABOUT SANDY CLUNAS
A driven and enthusiastic marketer with a proven track record of delivering results and helping brands & businesses get the most out of their channels, from organic copywriting, content creation and scheduling to planning and executing paid social campaigns.In May 2024 I joined the Pitstop team to head up their social media marketing and podcasting as we move towards our goal of changing the lives of millions of men around the world for the better, an issue close to my heart and something I\'m hugely passionate about. In November 2024 I was promoted to Marketing Manager, overseeing the growing marketing team and increasing our advertising efforts as we bring Pitstop to market in 2026.I created, hosted and ran the podcast \'The After Hours Lounge\' about mental health & wellbeing. Aimed at sharing how other people keep happy and encouraging more people to talk about whats going on inside their heads, in 2022 and 2023 it came in the top 5% of podcasts shared globally on Spotify. Now running and hosting the podcast \'Drive to Thrive\' for Pitstop, as well as offering consulting services for Podcasters/businesses.In 2021 I took on the role of lead commentator and presenter for the FPT (Freestyle Pro Tour). My role includes commentating the livestream, interviewing competitors and event organisers, interacting with the press, presenting the live pre and post show\'s, presenting the podium show and creating pre recordings for event promotional teasers and other short form content. This role has now also extended to working with the iQFOil Olympic windsurfing class, commentating and presenting all their major events.Ex professional windsurfer and coach with a passion for the ocean. I am a regular contributor to WindsurfingUK magazine, writing articles about my travels, event overviews and mental health within watersports.All round skills including public speaking, event management, marketing, podcasting, copywriting.
