ABOUT SANDY CERDA-LEZAMA

Dr. Cerda-Lezama is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Cornell University with the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Psychology at Portland State University, where her dissertation explored the role of social partners in shaping STEM identity development for underrepresented undergraduates, using qualitative methodologies. She has designed and led workshops for teachers on inclusive pedagogy. She has also mentored undergraduate researchers, helping them develop critical reflection and collaboration skills needed for their lab responsibilities.
