BMI Group is world\'s leading roofing and waterproofing solutions company with presence across Europe, Asia and Africa. I joined the business while it was still in the midst of integration post acquisition and merger of Braas Monier and Icopal. At the core of this transformation and integration was to evolve a traditional company in the construction industry into a modern, process based organisation underpinned by best in breed technology and great talent that can set the organisation to contribute and benefit towards the global ESG strategy where construction industry has a huge role to play. Business Partner to the CFO, CIO, General Counsel and CHRO. As part of the role, I have lead key transformations programs involving realigning functional strategy to business objectives, resetting functional operating models, rolling out new organisation structures and ensuring that we have the right talent in the team. I was also partnering the transformation office in rolling out some of these programs related to S4 / Hana implementation. As part of my role and as a board member of BMI GBS, I am also co-leading the set up of a greenfield Global Business Services organisation from initial conception to getting it operational together with the CFO and CHRO. Building the right team, the right culture and the right environment for this shift in operating model to succeed. Due to the nature of my role, I am also responsible for managing the relationship with our European Works Council and end to end HR matters for the Group Headquarters in Reading, UK.
