The Farm Carbon Toolkit (FCT) works to support a diverse farming and food sector that is part of the climate and nature solution. For over 10 years, we have increased the understanding of GHG emissions in agriculture, providing tools, projects and services to support and inspire farmers in taking their next steps.As COO, I lead the operations and finance, while contributing to organisational strategy and growth. Since joining, I have supported FCT’s scale-up from a start-up with one staff member and ~£11k turnover into a well-regarded, employee-owned company with £1.6M turnover and 20+ staff by 2025 — achieved organically, with no external investment. I work closely with the CEO, Directors and staff to deliver strategy, ensure financial resilience, and drive innovation. My role spans leadership, fostering a caring, values-driven culture, and collaborating with colleagues to develop trusted tools and services for farmers and the wider agricultural system.
