ABOUT SAMUEL XU

I\'m a current Georgia Tech student especially interested in computer hardware acceleration for machine-learning/AI applications. I also have experience with the applications of embedded systems, including within biomedical technology. I have conducted research or developed independent projects on ASIC development with VHDL RTL synthesis and verification, natural language processing, computer vision, application-specific microcontroller PCB design and deployment, ASIC development with Verilog RTL synthesis, floorplanning and routing, and verification. Even then, I\'ve also tinkered with 3D CAD for industrial design or embedded projects with a focus on additive manufacturing, and wireless power and data transmission.Currently heavily involved with the SiliconJackets club at Georgia Tech, where I am iteratively verifying the club RISC-V CPU hazard unit in communication with design engineers and also designing the architecture and RTL for read/write interfacing the scan chain module to instruction memory. Furthermore, I have also been a heavy contributor and student leader in the Agile Communications Architectures Vertically Integrated Project\'s hardware team where we are developing a method to wirelessly localize/find positioning.
