I market and publicize books, and read whatever I can get my hands on simultaneously- Plan and run campaigns for adult, business, and children’s books across fiction and non-fiction- Create and monitor social media campaigns, run paid ads (Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), and build partnerships to grow Hachette India’s digital presence- Work with authors on launches, videos, events, and influencer outreach- Handle media queries, award submissions, and festival coordination (yes, the WBF stall design was partly my genius after 3 americanos a day)- Design Amazon A+ assets and POS material—posters, bookmarks, stickers, blads etc- Put together catalogues, marketing material, and reports on time (I’m now on speaking terms with Excel)- Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to keep everything moving (even if it means I have to CALL them)- Known for being dependable, and detail-oriented. Also, the one whose desk has all the snacks and general ailment medicines.I may be a hermit at heart, but at work I thrive on doing the unexpected: making calls and getting things done.
