Hi there! I am the audience growth manager at Sahan Journal, a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to reporting on immigrants and communities of color in Minnesota. In my role, I collaborate across departments to grow Sahan Journal\'s reach and engagement with readers and supporters in strategic and thoughtful ways. My work often lies behind the scenes of our stories: editing headlines for SEO keywords, creating call-to-action website pop-ups to encourage newsletter signups, pitching trending story topics, and helping produce social media and newsletter content.My career is dedicated to amplifying under-told stories and approaching problems with creative solutions. I currently serve on the leadership boards of ThreeSixty Journalism and the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists. My work has appeared in various digital, TV, and radio news outlets in the Twin Cities. I am an alumna of ThreeSixty Journalism and the Emma Bowen Foundation, two organizations committed to diversifying the media industry.
