Lead multidisciplinary design team to deliver designs of AMP7 Welsh Water framework.• Production and Checking of all mechanical design deliverables including Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations. Provide mechanical design inputs for feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, and provide construction support.• Ensure that design takes full regard of all WIMES standards, CDM 2015 Regulations, DCWW standards and health and safety requirements. Strong knowledge of roles and responsibility under CDM 2015 Regulations.• Contributing to ALM/HAZOP/Design Review workshops alongside with the DCWW, to review the solution to ensure that adequate measures are in place in respect of the operability and maintainability of the proposed design solution.• Working collaboratively with other disciplines for the development of site layouts/GA/3D model. Supervising and developing junior mechanical engineers successfully.• Ensure that standard designs & practices are utilised wherever possible and develop bespoke designs wherever needed.• Delivering the various mechanical design deliverables for Wastewater/ Clean Water and Dams & Reservoir Projects within the agreed timescale and budget.• Working collaboratively with construction & commissioning teams and supply chain to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.• Good knowledge of various Pumping system designs and their applications in UK water and sewage treatment industry.
