Tertiary qualified mechanical engineer with more than twenty five years experience as Senior Piping Engineer and Designer in multi-million-dollar Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical EPC projects. DEMONSTRATED SKILLS:• Conversant with ASME/ ASTM/ API/ NACE codes with depth knowledge of plant issues, different project areas, construction procedures, communication rules, piping engineering, plant, equipment layout, material and stress analysis. Comprehensive experience in AVEVA E3D and PDMS for above ground piping design and plant layout of new plants (greenfield) and existing plants (brownfield)- offshore and onshore Underground piping design for any pressurized, semi-pressurized and atmospheric networks Excellent communication, team work, coordination and problem solving skills. Experienced in staffing, administrating and participating in and running multidisciplinary technical meetings Competent in preparing, developing and implementing instructions and specifications for piping engineering and design. Detail design review, verification and validation Knowledge of piping material management. On site engineering, running change management and quality assurance Comprehensive knowledge of of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 29001:2003 requirements and ability of applying safety standard in design and engineering tasks Stress analyzing of piping systems with CAESAR II software and support selection Solid experience in working with CADWorx and AutoCAD software 3D-model review with “Review Reality” and “Navisworks” software Hands on experience in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Micro Station.
