People – driving people strategy and engagement across the department via headcount planning, training strategies and line manager effectiveness assessments.Strategy / Transformation - Led Credit Suisse integration for IB Risk, spearheading AI development initiatives and delivering nearshoring / offshoring solutions. Regulatory engagement - frequent dialogue with global regulators on remediation and risk related topics. Departmental support of all regulatory engagements (~25 exams per year). Remediation - At the forefront of planning and delivery of other major remediation programmes across the function. Operational Risk Management / Controls – oversight of the operational risk portfolio, ensuring successful closure, proactive engagement with internal audit, and build out / evolution of the control environment across the function. Crisis management – coordinating responses to market crises, delivering analysis to senior mgmt, regulators etc. Employee Conduct – design and implementation of procedures to track breaches of risk policies, leading to issuance of conduct violations in a fair and consistent manner to enforce high standards. Risk Control Operations – leadership of a large team to deliver Credit Risk support on limit excess triage and resolution, authority checks and controls. Driving efficiencies and process improvements to deliver more on a lower cost base. Team leadership – direct oversight of a global team of ~70 individuals, with low attrition / high satisfaction, creating a supportive environment, providing opportunities for growth
