ABOUT SAM BRYERS

Beginning my career in the motor trade as an apprentice, I developed some invaluable skills and gained great knowledge of the car auction industry in a relatively short space of time. Successfully passing my apprenticeship qualification, I began by managing multiple vendor accounts, allowing me to build strong relationships with customers, buyers and vendors alike. Proving my worth and capability, I then assumed the role of Buyer Engagement Manager, a role which I enjoyed greatly and made my own. Furthering my career, I became Regional Buyer Engagement Manager. Managing all buyers in the south of England. This role shaped me into the person I am today, both personally and professionally due to all of the amazing relationships I formed over the years with my clients and absorbing any and all advice I was fortunate to receive so young.Having a break from the sales industry, I went into Microbiology as a team leader where I could focus on building my people management skills up by managing a team of 30+. This was a huge leap into a new industry for me but I learnt a lot and am grateful for a new perspective on things.Realising I sorely missed the sales and networking industry, I joined The Business Show as an Event Manager, focusing on helping grow SMEs. I am now working at SPC Rubber Group as a Process Technician, specifically in the mixing department. This is the beginning of the rubber manufacturing process, combining all the required materials to produce the rubber. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, travelling and attending music festivals and gigs.
