Medical school graduate from ITESM (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education) in Mexico City, a private higher learning institution constantly ranked as one of the best in Latin America and best in Mexico. Currently a first year resident of Ophthalmology at the Association to Prevent Blindness in Mexico, a private non-profit institution. I\'ve done medical rotations in the most prestigious hospitals in Mexico, inclunding: Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Health Sciences and Nutrition, ABC Medical Center and Medica Sur Hospital, all located in Mexico City. I\'ve also rotated in the prestigious 12 de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Since a young age I have shown leadership qualities and the importance of giving back to our communities and environment. I achieved the highest rank BSA has to offer after the completion of a monument dedicated to the United States\' Iraq Veterans.
