Founded Airborne to solve problems faced by Last Mile/ HyperLocal Logistics industry, With a mission to Deliver Consumer Goods using Drones at Lower Cost than Conventional Methods, Achieving this by Designing, Building and Operating Everything In-House. Three fundamental problems faced by these aggregator companies(Zomato, Zepto, 1Mg) are Cost of Customer Acquisition, Logistics Expenses and Value Chain Creation leading to 80% of their Revenue. 90% of all the products delivered by these platforms are under 2kg and 4km of radius. Which we at Airborne wanted to delivered using Drones, 2Kg & 7Km of radius which is achievable using todays technology. Build Product Development Roadmap, GTM strategy, Partnership strategies & Investment thesis by curating information from successful founders stories & businesses in same and similar industries. Build a Technology Demonstrator Vehicle which was able to demonstrate our customised End to End & Integrated delivery business modules by building customised Python scripts using open source tools, Pixhawk Flight Controller, RaspberryPi Flight Computer, ArdourPilot, MavLink. Successfully performed extensive Flight testing,Reliability testing,Failsafe testing,Performance testing & Redundancy testing to validate vehicle reliability. Learned about Drone building, Drone piloting,Avionics,Battery technology,RF communication,Reading Telemetry and Flash logs,Materials & Composites Manufacturing. Applied to top six VC’s in India,Was in conversation with three of them to raise a Seed round,Got approached by few angel investors from Silicon Valley eventually getting One Term Sheet.Applied to Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch,Was a great learning experience. Got an opportunity to collaborate with Shiprocket, Was a great hands-on learning experience of the Logistic Industry. Convince senior executives from Airport Authority of India, Indian Army Aviation, Here Technologies, Nokia Networks and Mylan to join Airborne\'s Advisory Board.
