Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installationsInterpret CAD schematic diagram and understand the circuit’s functionality and troubleshooting the issues. Ensure that the elevator fixture panel function smoothly as per the design of the panel layout, schematics and instruction while checking the quality of the process.Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.Conduct wiring of connections, terminate as needed for variety of connectors, control systems, electronic circuit boards, actuators, sensors and other electrical devices.Assist and conduct inspection, functional and continuity testing, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances.Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.Perform complicated and varied tasks while prioritizing work orders to meet production schedule. Check floor stock by monitoring the wiring department inventory.Set up and operate standard test equipment to diagnose, test, inspect and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems to identify non-conformances as applicable. Follow quality control processes and complete inspection documentation as required. Complete shop records and technical reports accurately and on time. Able to manage medium to heavy materials, tact and judgement.
