Responsibilities:• Design of compressors for unique products, very small to very large-scale home and commercial applications• Use of various 1-D, 2-D and 3-D design and simulation methods to arrive at an optimum design.• Rapid prototyping of components for aero and acoustic testing• Conduct acoustic testing, preparation of test reports as per standards.• Transfer of design to manufacturing, participate in product testing. Other Responsibilities:• Skill-up and develop new tools for the team as needed.• Participate and collaborate with company offices around the world after project transfer.• Managing Dyson university students during their rotation and for final year projects. Proposing projects and guiding them to completion.
