ABOUT SAHRA DILA AVCI

I am a Psychology student at McGill University with minors in Cognitive Science and Economics, working at the intersection of human behavior, brand strategy, and visual culture. I am interested in how people form taste, trust, and emotional connection, and how those processes shape the way brands and products are experienced.My work sits between creative direction and behavioral insight. I build narratives, visual systems, and positioning ideas grounded in how people actually think and feel, not just how brands want to be seen. I am especially drawn to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle as cultural systems where identity, aesthetics, and meaning are constantly being negotiated.Alongside my studies, I am developing a portfolio focused on creative strategy, consumer psychology, and brand worlds. I am particularly interested in roles where research, storytelling, and design come together such as brand strategy, creative marketing, visual merchandising, and experience design.Long term, I want to build a career shaping how brands communicate, feel, and exist in people’s lives through a blend of psychology, creativity, and strategic thinking.
