Assess the adequacy and efficiency of the internal control, risk management system, and corporate governance.• Perform internal operational services, and/or financial auditing of programs, departments, and accounts that come under the budget authority of the organization.• Playing a critical role in ensuring that an organization adheres to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.• Carry out comprehensive examinations/audits of the entity performance, which imply the documentary and physical checking of the legitimacy of financial and business operations, reliability, and correctness of their reflection in the accounting (financial) reporting, and follow-up control of financial and business operations of the entity.• Ensure that all postings and entries into the ERP software of the company are accurate and done instantly or strictly within stipulated timelines.• Reconciliation of freight operational inflow against actual work done to determine the unpaid freight.• Prepare written internal audit reports on the results of the audit engagement to the management and the audit committee and evaluate the organization’s plans or actions to correct reported concerns.• Provide internal audit recommendations to management for improvements to the system of risk management, internal control processes, and governance processes.
