WORK HISTORY
President @Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center
Louisville, KY, US
This place, this facility, this dream—it began on 24 acres of forgotten land, a brownfield many considered worthless. But our community saw its potential, and together, we demanded more.I led the charge, raising almost $60 million, fueled by everything from $5 individual gifts to a game-changing $6.5 million naming rights donation. With our hands, our minds, and a united spirit, we transformed this toxic site into a beacon of opportunity.Today, this debt-free, Black-owned space is a thriving center where residents run, students learn, and lives are changed. We host everything from youth sports like track and cheerleading to corporate retreats and community galas. But our impact goes beyond these walls. Our work catalyzed the development of a senior medical facility next door and is now being hailed as the catalyst for the first new hospital built in this community in more than 150 years. I am honored to serve as Founder and President of this incredible organization. We have completed the first two phases and we begin the third phase in September of 2025. We employ 12 people, house two restaurants and utilize 5 small Black owned businesses in our facility.
