WORK HISTORY
Senior Territory Manager Scientific Lead @Amedica
I lead the regional commercial strategy and scientific integration for Ameela®, a pioneering portfolio of bio-regenerative injectables that harness polynucleotide macromolecules, plant-derived extracellular vesicles (exosomes), bioactive peptides and growth factor complexes. My role operates at the intersection of clinical science, translational medicine and commercialisation, supporting adoption across dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic regenerative medicine.Molecular Expertise & Scientific Differentiation• Polynucleotides: Activate fibroblast proliferation via TGF-β/SMAD, MAPK/ERK, and PI3K/Akt pathways. Scavenge ROS through nucleophilic binding, delay senescence and enhance ECM regeneration.• Exosomes: Deliver miRNAs and cytokines via lipid raft-mediated endocytosis, modulate inflammation (via NF-κB, Nrf2, SOD2) and promote angiogenesis and fibroblast reprogramming.• Hexapeptide-8, Growth Factors, Tech Collagen: Inhibit vesicle fusion (SNAP-25 mimicry), reduce dynamic wrinkles and stimulate collagen biosynthesis.Scientific & Strategic Responsibilities• Deliver advanced scientific training on cellular mechanisms of action, biomolecular targets and in vivo efficacy to HCP\'s.• Lead peer-education workshops and supported data-generation initiatives to embed regenerative therapies into long-term clinical practice.• Translate bench science into protocolled clinical applications, leveraging emerging literature and in-house R&D data.• Direct territory commercialisation, manage lifecycle strategy and expand market penetration.• Define and execute commercial plans, manage territory P&L, forecast revenue and exceed KPIs.• Partner with formulation scientists, clinical researchers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to validate product positioning through clinical observations, mechanistic trials and biochemical testing.• Ensure all activities align with MHRA, EU MDR, and FDA Class standards.

ABOUT SADIA KHANOM
Passionate and result-driven Medical Device Product Specialist with expertise in Biomedical Science, Genomics and Business Development. I have a proven track record in sales strategy, market expansion and stakeholder engagement. My ability to bridge scientific innovation with commercial success has enabled me to drive revenue growth, manage product lifecycles and establish key partnerships within the healthcare industry. Beyond Medical Sales and Product Management, I have led scientific research initiatives, market analysis and commercialisation strategies. My experience includes developing innovative healthcare solutions and building strategic relationships with organisations such as NHS Partnerships in Health, Public Health England (PHE) and the Department of Health (DoH) South Africa. I have a deep interest in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. My academic research has focused on genomic analysis of immune cells in Alzheimer’s disease, exploring how immune dysregulation contributes to disease progression. I am highly engaged in ongoing developments in precision medicine, neuroinflammation and biomarker discovery, staying updated with the latest research to understand how genetics and molecular mechanisms drive neurodegeneration. I actively participate in awareness initiatives, advocating for early diagnosis, improved patient care and reducing stigma around Dementia. I am particularly interested in how advanced genomics and novel therapeutics can revolutionise neurodegenerative disease management.
