WORK HISTORY
Undergraduate Researcher at Sohn Lab @Uc Berkeley Mechanical Engineering
Fabricate Node-Pore Sensing (NPS) microfluidic devices using standard photolithography, soft lithography, and metal deposition with electron-beam evaporator for electrode fabrication on quartz and glass substrates for collaborations with City of Hope Cancer Research Center and UCSF- Designed AutoCAD mask designs with various electrode spacings to optimize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and device performance for NPS- Optimized microfabrication parameters (baking, exposure, and development times) for improved device quality- Conducted NPS and multi-zone NPS measurements on polystyrene colloids and BT474 extracellular vesicles; performed signal processing and data analysis using MATLAB- Presented results in the BMES 2025 Annual Conference poster session for “Node-Pore Sensing Enables Direct Quantification of Extracellular Vesicles.”
