As the duty crew controller, my primary responsibility is to ensure that safety is maintained throughout the flying programme by making sure that each flight is crewed efficiently. Making sure that each crew roster stays compliant with EASA’s Flight Time Limitation, the EU Working Time Directive and the company crew contractual agreement. First Class degree - BSc (Hons) in Aviation Studies My studies at University include the subject of air transport economics, business applications, flight operations and scheduling to name a few. Giving me the opportunity to learn the ways by which an airline and airport operates. For my final dissertation, I simulated an airline with its primary operation between Bournemouth-Guernsey and decided on the financial feasibility of the operation. That includes independently collating and analysing data from various sources and ensuring that the operation complies with all the rules and regulations. I also had the opportunity of leading a group of final year university student to a successful dissertation result.Completed my commercial pilot training with Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training on a modular course.
