ABOUT RYAN MOHORNE
Currently, I serve as the Communications Manager at the Florida Hospital Association. We are a member-driven, advocacy-based organization focused on increasing health care quality through several strategic initiatives throughout Florida. We have over 240 member hospitals and health systems that effectively and frequently engage to discuss healthcare advocacy, legislation, quality, workforce, and much more. As the Communications Manager, I manage our Customer Relationship Management system, while also providing ample guidance to the communications team. In my role, I aid our legislative and education team in developing weekly and bi-weekly newsletters that are issued to our members. Also, website development and updating is an integral component of my role. Ensuring that our audience can access necessary material with ease. I’m a Fall 2023 M.S. Professional Communications Graduate at Florida State University’s College of Communication and Information. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
