Functioned as lead of the Data Science / Engineering team within Insider Threat, and as such, worked to design and develop solutions to store, utilize, and analyze over 100 different unique data sources. These were then used to enable machine learning & predictive analytics tools to detect and react to potential insider threat concerns- Managed a series of Oracle databases, functioning as the DBA, System Administrator, and Software Engineer to develop complete end-to-end ETL, saving over $1MM in licensing costs, and making administration and development substantially less costly and more efficient- Developed In-House ETL Pipeline, amalgamating over 100 different data sources (CSV, API JSON, PDFs using OCR, web scrapraw streaming text output, and external databases to include PostgreSQL and MSSQL), using Apache Airflow tasks for DAGs, kicking off Python dbt processing, and outputting to a combination of an AWS S3 Data Lake, and an Oracle Data Warehouse. Worked with system engineers to develop a scalable Kubernetes / Docker architecture- Actively developed and updated a variety of Python models in order to observe / predict trends and behaviors as a result of identified risk indicators, utilizing pandas/polars, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn- Developed an analysis system to view/append to terabyte-scale data, using Oracle APEX as the visualization tools- Supported a large-scale metrics dashboard using Tableau to provide an easy and efficient visualization to SES leadership on the progress of a variety of initiatives- Led large-scale data migration of on-prem Oracle Exadata (X3 and X5 to X7 and X10) instances- Designed a web-based system to replace one-off analysis tools used by smaller teams. Rallied and briefed government support and funding to move forward, and existed as the sole contractor POC for the project, completing the entirety of the Cloud Migration, and deployment in the C2S (Amazon AWS) environment.
