ABOUT RYAN BRANDER
I’m currently an Event Assistant with Strike Magazine, where I help plan and run fashion and culture focused events. My role involves working with the team on logistics, coordinating with partners, and making sure each event runs smoothly and leaves an impact.Before this, I co-founded and served as Executive Director of Survivor UCF at the University of Central Florida. During my time there, the organization grew to over 200 members. I built out committees for Challenges, Casting, and Social Media, and oversaw everything from operations and finances to the recruitment process. Our Survivor themed events consistently drew strong interest, with around 60 applicants per season, and I led the interviews and selection process.I’ve also worked in social media and digital strategy, including my time as a Social Media Ambassador for Florida Gold Coast Swimming, where I created content that boosted engagement and reach. On top of that, I’ve gained customer service and organizational experience through roles at Universal’s Volcano Bay and as a Library Tech Student Assistant at UCF.Outside of work, I’m passionate about film and writing, and I’m looking to bring together my skills in social media, event management, and digital media to keep building creative, meaningful experiences.
