ABOUT RYAN BATTISTA
I am a rising young professional in the supply chain industry. With procurement experience at U.S. Steel and now Medtronic, as well as integrated business planning at the medical device company. I accelerated my career growth through the Global Supply Management Rotational Program at Medtronic. Having three unique roles across our procurement organization. Starting on the Indirect team sourcing IT Software in a plethora of RFPs and contract renewals. I then spent time with our Operations Sourcing group working on various inventory, supply continuity, and supplier metrics initiatives. My last program experience had me leading my own commodity sub-category and driving supplier management processes on our Direct Materials sourcing team. Following my graduation for the program, I now own and manage Medtronic’s Electromechncial Assemblies category. I look forward to applying the knowledge and experiences from the rotation program as I ascend into my career. I am excited to continue to strive for success in my work that has been grounded in the values and mission of myself and my organization. Being able to one day lead and coach others is a passion of mine which drives me as a developing professional.
