Serves as the Sourcing liaison with Site Operations, Planning, Quality and Finance organizations in the resolution of supply related issues. Participates and/or leads Sourcing strategic activities especially those involving product life cycle and supplier management including but not limited to: product/part phase in-phase/phase-out, local sourcing related initiatives, supplier delivery performance and inventory management. Support Category Management in pricing, terms & conditions, and quality agreements with key strategic suppliers. Participates in supplier visits and audits to drive continuous improvement activities (Cost of Poor Supplier Quality Support) •Use problem solving techniques/methodologies to identify supplier delivery root cause and achieve resolution of production continuity events (support sCAPA when necessary) •Knowledge of the quality system and responsible for following all purchasing control procedures •Site support for regulatory body audits •Attendance and engagement in the SiOP process and the GSC/planning target consensus meetings/reviews. Communicate changes to Purchasing Center of Excellence •Creation and presentation of monthly inventory reviews •Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting and issue resolution.
