ABOUT RUTURAJ GODSE

I am Ruturaj Godse, an engineer in the Artificial Intelligence domain, currently enhancing my skill set through a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Columbia University, specializing in Machine Learning. My academic journey started with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science from BITS Pilani, where I excelled as the batch topper and earned the Aditya Birla Scholarship. I\'ve maintained an exemplary GPA throughout my academic career and showcased my coding skills achieving notable ranks in competitions including the ICPC Continent Finals, ACM National Coding Contest, and Innovate India Coding Championship. My education has been a blend of rigorous coursework and practical applications in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and High-Performance Machine Learning, preparing me for the challenges and opportunities in the AI field.Professionally, my internships at American Express and D.E. Shaw have been pivotal in honing my skills in developing models and algorithms that significantly improve operational efficiencies. At American Express, I developed a transformer-based model for classifying financial documents with exceptional accuracy and automated performance evaluation processes, demonstrating my knack for problem-solving and innovation. My research projects, including analyzing the spread of COVID-19 through transportation networks, have contributed to the AI community and have been recognized in journals and conferences such as LNAI (Springer), ICAART, and With a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA, and LangChain, I am looking forward to applying my knowledge and skills to drive advancements in the AI industry.
