ABOUT GUNA AVULA
I recently completed the integrated BS/MS (4+1) program at Purdue University, earning Honors degrees in Computer Science and Applied Statistics with a minor in Mathematics. This culminated in a Master’s thesis on Graph Foundational Models, and I maintain a deep interest in the intersection of Deep Learning and Data Engineering. Currently, I am entering a Software Engineering role at The Voleon Group, where I apply these technical foundations to complex challenges within the quantitative finance domain. Beyond my technical work, I strongly value transformational leadership, a skill set I refined through my roles as a Head Teaching Assistant and Honors Mentor.
