The Lighthouse Charity provides 24/7 holistic support to our UK and Ireland construction community on all aspects of emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. A crucial element of the charity’s strategy is to provide a range of free and widely available reactive and proactive resources to support the industry.We offer a free and confidential 24/7 helpline, live web chat service and text facility which provides a range of information, guidance and support on a huge variety of wellbeing issues. These services are complemented by our free self-support app, along with our Lighthouse Beacons who provide a safe space for people to share concerns.Our Wellbeing Academy offers a variety of free soft skills and leadership training delivered across a variety of platforms to suit every learning style. My role is to Manage our relationships with out Partners and Company Supporters and help deliver our services to the construction industry.

Hey there, I’m Ruth. I am a Partnership manager for the amazing Lighthouse Charity. We aim to ensure that our construction community can easily access the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support they need and to develop healthy and sustainable futures for this generation and the next.We support thousands of construction workers and their families every single year. Our support is based on 3 pillars, Emotional, Physical and Financial Wellbeing.Whether you or someone you love need help in any of the above areas, you just want someone to talk to, or you want to see what options are available, we have a number of different ways you can access our help.We receive no public sector funding so rely on the generosity of the industry to help us support our construction community in the UK and Ireland. There are several ways that you can support us, either financially or by helping us raise awareness of the support available.Outside of work, I love walking Tucker, my beautiful red Labrador, and Skyler to crazy Husky! or you can find me taking cold water plunges, and supporting other ostomates or those living with Crohns or Colitis, and those about to go through stoma surgery.
