Hi there! The name you are trying to pronounce is Ru-Te-Ndo (like Nintendo with a Ru):) I love using my content creation skills to tell stories that are visually compelling, informative and useful to the people in my community. I also get a rush out of organizing and generating systems that make life simple, straight-forward and more efficient. So I am thrilled that in my current role I can do both of those things simultaneously. My day consists of me using new and established communication strategies to amplify the World Trade Center-Vancouver brand and programs. It also consists of me organizing the logistical components of the Trade Accelerator Program - which is designed for CEO’s and Entrepreneurs who are ready to start selling their products and services internationally. If I did not do my job well, the small and medium sized businesses would never become the Apples and Googles of tomorrow or if they did, it would take them a long time. So together with my colleagues and our partners we bring experts into a room for 5 days to teach entrepreneurs how to expand into new markets. Kinda like a one-stop-shop for exporting. It is meaningful work :) … Learn more at TAPBC.CA When I am not knee deep in all the above, my summers are spent on hikes, going to the beach, or walking/cycling the seawall.
