ABOUT RUPSHA BHATTACHARYA

After multiple roles across 10 years, I feel most comfortable as a generalist marketer. Creative ads and insights continue to blow my mind but I find sustained joy in a marketing campaign that’s lowering CAC, trying to reach new audience, building brand slowly and is consistent. I understand brand building, creative communications, how campaigns layer and spread across Google,meta, D2C and e-commerce. I’m friendly with PR and SEO and ready to put in the time needed for these to give results. I understand how different shoot types work - brand, D2C, A+, celebrity etc and can plan for these with various partners. My foundation years of consumer research and observing the slow and steady world of brand building make me cautious with the budgets and force me to have patience during campaign results. Transparent vendor management and ensuring visibility to all partners has more often than not made my Monday mornings easier and I try to keep my mails read and responded to. I still falter at true definitions of an insight, producing a brief that makes the creative team happy and a ROI report with clear attribution for decision making but I do try.I\'ve grown from one role to the next, learnt from failure and success, can resolve and replace during conflict and now also sustain a healthy personal life. In my time at work, being managed and now having managed teams, I’ve found that clarity, consistency and kindness are helpful in building a team and that there are no shortcuts to good work.
