ABOUT RUJDIYA HASSAN

I am currently a Digital Marketing Intern at BioCote, on my placement year as part of my Business and Marketing degree at Coventry University. Having always been interested in chemistry, working for a company like BioCote is exciting. During my placement, I have learned valuable skills in digital marketing, including SEO training, assisted in email campaigns, content creation, business prospecting and using CRM tools. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams which has broadened my understanding of how various teams work together to achieve business goals.Prior to my placement, I worked as a part-time Marketing Manager at Luv Media Corporation, where I gained valuable experience in managing marketing campaigns, content strategy, and brand promotion. I also served as a student representative for UniWristband, where I acted as a liaison between students and the company.In addition to my professional experiences, I recently had the opportunity to collaborate on an exciting (COIL) project: Live Client Project - Convent Centre as part of my online learning journey at Coventry University. Our team worked closely with the live client. Outside of my professional and academic life, I am a student placement mentor at Coventry University, volunteering to guide and support fellow students as they navigate their placement journeys.I am also actively involved in university activities as a member of the Coventry University Basketball Society. I’ve also won 2 interschool extempore speech competitions. In my free time, I pursue painting, having won national-level competitions and enjoy playing chess. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about programming languages and technology, exploring this interest through online courses on platforms like SoloLearn. This early exposure to programming sparked my passion for data analytics, and I aim to merge my marketing background with data-driven strategies in the future.I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and look forward to continuing to build on these skills throughout my career.
