ABOUT RUGGERO BORLETTI

I joined Merrill in 2017 as a Managing Director, Private Wealth Manager within Merrill Private Wealth Management and have worked in financial services since 1989. I am intimately familiar with the challenges of managing substantial wealth. I have worked with ultra-affluent clients both domestically and abroad, who have experienced some type of wealth transformation, such as the sale of their business. My goal is to help them preserve their assets, sustain their lifestyle and create a meaningful legacy through prudent wealth management. In order to effectively guide my clients through different market cycles, I help them identify and allocate their risk into separate asset pools with different objectives such as cash management, income generation, and long-term growth. This process helps put them in a position to segment their wealth so they can treat each asset pool with its own specific goals and risk characteristics. My value to my clients reaches well beyond their portfolio strategies. Having worked for three major global banks over the course of my career, I have developed a diverse set of experiences and can quickly determine the appropriateness of different products and services, including appropriate fees and reporting structures. About Me Born in Italy, raised in Kenya, schooled in the Swiss Alps, I have worked in numerous countries including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, and cities such as Geneva, London, New York, Los Angeles and Phoenix. My diverse, international upbringing has provided me with a global view of the markets and an understanding of vastly diverse portfolio strategies. I enjoy tennis, hiking, biking, swimming, and staying involved with the activities of my five children.
