Defines and Manages the ISO 9001/AS9100 compliant Quality Management System for SSL. Ensures the System Internal Audit group has a robust auditing program that provides SSL senior management with measures of compliance, preventive and corrective action.Responsible for managing SSL\'s calibration system and metrology program to meet contractual and ISO/AS requirements.Manage and facilitate inter-organizational quality and manufacturing FlexSys databases (Employee Training LMS, Corrective Notice, Meetings/Actions.). Ensure data integrity of Quality System databases through programming, documentation and administrative support.Ensure SSL maintains a rigorous technical and quality system training curriculum. Including a certification program (i.e. NASA Hand Solder, Cable & Harness), mandated training (Electrostatic Discharge, Contamination Control), developmental training (New Hire Seminars, Non-conformance recording), and computer based training all geared to reduce rework, prevents problems, and encourages core value development.Support and facilitate Product Assurance and inter-organizational documentation by providing technical writing, document control and statistical support. Create and maintain the company wide DocTracking database.Facilitate meetings (Quality System Review, Executive Preventive and Corrective Action Board.) for the VP of Product Assurance.
