Business Analyst (FRESH - ISPL)The FRESH vertical of ISPL is a culmination of Business Analysts and Developers within BNP-Work very closely with the development team to understand the technical aspects of the application-Engage with various stakeholders to understand their requirements-Handled large, medium and small projects for Finance, Risk and Operations Control - following Agile methodologies-Involved in Application decommissioning and Integration into an existing application.Middle Office Voluntary Corporate ActionsMigration and Team Set up – APAC Voluntary Corporate Action Middle Office* Preparing SOPs as per prescribed standards. Assisting the manager with the on boarding process – reviewing SOPs, analyzingbaseline figures, preparing training plans, strategies and training progress trackers.Process related functions-* End to end processing of Voluntary Corporate Actions; researching and disseminating CA event details to stakeholders, sending elections to the agent via MT565 and MT566 payment processing.* Ascertaining Arbitrage opportunity on Stock Lending and Borrowing trades and informing Traders about the same.* Taking decisions on CA elections on behalf of traders by indicating lucrative options.* Processing cash and stock claims for SLAB (Borrowed/Loaned shares);* Reconciliation activities: Cash and Stock break reconciliation between accounting and custody & FO and BO.* Resolving queries from stake holders- traders, front office support, and dependent processing teams.* Performing Adhoc activities cash dividend tax reclaim documentation, share/bond conversions for non-market trades.Managerial functions:* Team handling ensuring BAU runs smoothly.* Representing the process at the vertical-level monthly KPI calls.* Involved in various planning and strategizing calls; during transition phase as well as once the process was on boarded.* Involved in various escalations and error discussion with risk and compliance teams.
