Targeted to develop the training division within the Group. Successfully engaged with funding organisations and government departments to encourage long term NEETS and young adults 18+ into careers within the rail sector. I also represented Auctus in a sub Alliance with Colas Rail to tender for a contract with Centro (now West Midlands Combined Authority) to deliver the tram extensions across the West Midlands. We were successful and I was seconded to the Midland Metro Alliance initially as Skills & Inclusion Lead where I focused on engaging with educational establishments, youth organisations & community groups, job centres and other organisations to support the recruitment, training and development of West Midlands residents. Whilst continuing with this education and skills initiative I also now work with stakeholders promoting the Metro across the region.
