For over 20 years at Davidson College, I have served as a Hispanic Studies Lecturer and Posse Mentor, which is dedicated to fostering educational resilience. My work cultivates self-efficacy and grit among students from diverse backgrounds, underscoring my commitment to an inclusive and supportive academic environment.I have a doctorate in Educational Leadership and contributed to curriculum development and holistic student advising. The mentoring strategies we’ve implemented have significantly strengthened community engagement. My passion lies in empowering students and building connections that enrich the campus and the local community.
