ABOUT RONALD S.
Senior Scientist and Project Leader with over a decade of experience in translational research across cardiometabolic diseases, including cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disorders. My work has focused on bridging early discovery and human biology through advanced in vitro systems, biomarker strategies, and translational platforms aimed at improving clinical predictivity. I have led and contributed to multidisciplinary programs spanning academia and industry, with a strong emphasis on disease modeling, mechanism-driven research, and cross-functional collaboration.I’m building Corelia Bio, a pre-seed biotech company developing human cardio-renal engineered tissue platforms to generate more human-relevant translational insights in CKD, HFpEF, and fibrosis-related disease. Our goal is to improve early decision-making in target validation, biomarker discovery, and therapeutic profiling. Corelia Bio is currently advancing within the Life Science Factory ecosystem and through the ELSA Entrepreneurial Life Science Accelerator, and we’re now building toward our first platform and partnership milestones.Open to connecting with scientists, clinicians, and partners working at the interface of cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic research.
