ABOUT RONALD C. LEWIS
Georgia born, Georgia raised, and Georgia educated, Dr. Ronald Lewis loves being part of the community of Northeast Georgia. As a surgeon, he has a passion for treating hernias knowing that he can provide a solution and help his patients get back to living.Nationally, Dr. Lewis is recognized as a Mentor Site by da Vinci Surgery for other surgeons training in robotic surgery. He is also a member of the American Hernia Society, a diplomate in the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Lewis went to undergrad at the University of Georgia then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Some of his special practices and procedural interests include- Robotic and Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery- Laparoscopic Colon Surgery for Benign and Malignant Disease- Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery- Benign and Malignant Breast DiseaseWhen not in the operating room, Dr. Lewis is spending time with his family, is a proud Assistant ScoutMaster for Troup 16 and enjoys being a member of his local church.
