ABOUT ROMANINA COZZOLINO

I have always been an avid gamer and passionate about foreign languages, so I started my journey in video game localisation in 2020 when I had the chance to work as an English to Italian translator on various video games for the Italian market. This gave me a better understanding of the game localisation process and taught me the importance of meeting deadlines and respecting NDAs. Over the past five years, working passionately in this position has improved my English level and my investigative skills to find problems and errors. I have gained and sharpened the required skills to work in the video game industry, translating and proofreading daily game material from English to Italian. I was a portrait and lifestyle photographer for 10 years, exploring projects even in video game eSports tournaments, and now this is locked away in my heart. My passion for photography has been with me since childhood, learning the skill of observing the world through a camera during school trips where I bought and used so many rolls of film that I can still see the frown on my parents\' faces for capturing anything and everything around me. How much money was spent on films! Loving to capture any image that caught my eye, I began to take photography more seriously in 2010, using both digital and analogue cameras, and mostly as a self-taught photographer. We all have our way of seeing the world, and I have been doing it through the viewfinder of a camera for years. When I\'m not translating or photographing, you will probably find me in my comfort zone, watching some movies or series, playing video games or board games, taking care of my dog, being a foodie (did someone say pizza?), reading books or comics, sipping a cup of tea or a small cup of *ginseng coffee, or listening to chill music, but also outdoors, walking around in green spaces. all this while dreaming of Japan.
