As a Communications Specialist at Taproot Community Support Services, I report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and assessment of our public relations, community outreach, and marketing efforts. Our overarching goal is to elevate Taproot’s presence within communities.My responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including:Conducting research, interviews, and content creation for both internal and external audiences in alignment with the guidance of Taproots’s leadership team.I manage our digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, intranet, and newsletters.Assisting in responding to internal requests for content changes, ensuring brand consistency, and managing print production when needed.Contributing actively to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, involving tasks such as information gathering, content creation, and coordination of events, photo/video shoots, and related activities.Overseeing social media activities, regular newsletter distribution, and the periodic administration of surveys to engage our stakeholders effectively.Maintaining valuable marketing assets, including our photo and video library, SharePoint resources, and stakeholder contact lists.Tracking and analyzing the impact of our communication activities and providing regular reports on our marketing initiatives.I am deeply committed to supporting Taproot’s communication goals and engaging stakeholders across multiple channels.
