Direct Procurement• Managing & handing the entire S2P procurement cycle of 27 plants across Pan India. • Total Category Management of 1.2 million MT and Rs 1500 cr. • Planning & Strategic Sourcing of Raw Materials including minerals, cement & derivatives, slag, GGBS, Flyash on best techno commercial terms. • Procurement and Development of supply base for Chemicals for Powder Based products, paints, admixtures and RMC.• Procurement of Packing Materials & Consumables majorly including BOPP, PP, Pales & Buckets. And developing alternate packing solutions.• Conduction auctions and sourcing events for high value spends.• Conducting Vendor audits of Major Vendors and evaluation of Vendor Performance on a periodic basis. • Preparation of Annual Budget based on forecasting and period review with the team.• Developing appropriate contracts with high spend vendors and corresponding logistics. Thereby increasing contracted spend and reducing risk. In Direct Procurement• Supply and procurement of MRO and Plant Consumables for all units.• Supply of IT & security equipment for plant and HO units.Process Developments• Identifying the process gaps and automation in SAP S4 Hana such as Auto GR, implementation of DOA matrix, Auto PO release to Vendor, Auto Payment Advice to Vendors, Auto Periodic Balance Confirmation, Auto Payment Release, PO Cockpit development for interplant units.• Redefining SOP’s, Procurement Policies and code of conduct.• Devising ways to reduce overall inventory valuation and enhance soft savings.• Reducing cashflows by increasing credit period by various ways such as BG, bill factoring e.t.c.
