ABOUT ROGER DUCK

I am motivated to work with people to humanise organisations. I listen with empathy, and I can put people at ease. I deliver challenge, without being critical, by drawing on multiple perspectives and looking for creative ways to reframe situations. I design group processes which help people connect with, and understand, one another better, seeking common ground and new ways forward by enabling people to learn.I have worked, mostly as a consultant, with both private and public sector organisations in the UK and internationally. This has spanned various sectors including transport, energy, telecoms, education, emergency services, health and social care, and community. The core of my practice are processes of enquiry, facilitation, collaboration and conceptual modelling to inform strategy and change, combining a human touch with analytical rigour.Stated more traditionally, my services include strategy consulting, organisational development, innovation, and workshop design and facilitation, with a focus on learning for change and improvement. This builds on earlier consultancy work in market strategy, business case development, research projects, technical due diligence and procurement. My approach is informed by various traditions in systems thinking and practice.
