These specially designed ships and barges can perform complex cable installation operations in all water depths, from shallow to deep, to connect offshore wind farms as well as interconnecting islands, countries, and continents.Client rep for Empire Wind 1 windfarm cable installation scope:• Pre-install seabed survey• Seabed pre-sweep using electrical controlled flow excavator (E-CFE) in preparation for cable trench-installation• As-left survey and review for compliance.• Cable jointing spread procurement and mobilizationProject lead and client rep for the outfitting of a US flagged Barge for the purpose of Cable-laying of power cables within boundary lines (inland waterways) and within USCG sectors:• Develop yard outfitting scope of work.• Develop specifications for equipment RFP.• Supervise outfitting of barge at shipyard and liaise with ABS• Coordinate with naval architecture firm, vendors and SMEs for project completion.• Interface with project team to meet client requirements.• Review the shipbuilding documentation.
