o This role was a new/emerging organization within Supply Chain Operations to assist in the development and lead the strategic redesign of the SC Ops organization from the ground up. The goal of this role is to transform Supply Chain to become a competitive advantage for the company and be responsive to our customers’ and business partners’ changing needs leveraging technology and data to support Duke Energy’s net zero strategy. o Led the Supply Chain Operations organization to a new frontier, inspiring and engaging our employees to redesign a 400+ employee organization, enabling us to be a key competitive edge for the company. o The objectives of this transformation are: o Increased productivity by leveraging technology and automation. o Simplified business model to streamline and consolidate processes, as well as determine the right mix of insourced vs. outsourced resources to build upon our core competencies and organizational structure. o Optimize our risk and sustainability profile by transferring or mitigating risks including safety, environmental, social and governance. o Improve customer/partner user experience leveraging on demand, real time information across the end-to-end Supply Chain processes. o Position Supply Chain to manage 30-40% growth in throughput over the next five years while controlling operational costs, maintaining the highest level of safety and meeting customer’s service level targets.
