I sit on the national committee of the St. James\'s Place Charitable Foundation. My role involves approving large grants at the national level which support multi-year projects that make a transfomational difference to a huge number of people across the UK. I also represent the needs of the South West and the charities we support to the national committee whilst working locally to help local charities to apply for smaller grants.The Foundation was set up in 1992 as a way for the staff and advisers of St. James’s Place plc (SJP) to give back in their communities. More than 30 years on, and the support of the SJP community has helped us raise millions of pounds for charities and become one of the largest corporate foundations in the UK.
